Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Orientation
Airport pickup, scenic transfer to Lake Atitlan. Check in at your lakefront villa. Evening orientation covering the communities you will visit, the projects you will support, and the impact your group will make.
Day 2: Reforestation Project
Travel to a highland community above the lake. Work alongside local families planting native trees in areas affected by deforestation. Learn about the watershed's importance to the lake ecosystem and the communities that depend on it.
Day 3: Women's Cooperative
Visit a women-led artisan cooperative. Participate in a hands-on weaving or natural dye workshop led by the cooperative's members. Learn about their journey toward economic independence and how tourism supports their mission.
Day 4: Sustainable Agriculture
Morning visit to an organic coffee farm. Learn the full bean-to-cup process and understand how fair-trade practices support farming families. Afternoon visit to a community permaculture garden growing traditional crops.
Day 5: Education & Community
Visit a local community school. Engage with students through activities, donate supplies, and learn about educational challenges in rural Guatemala. Afternoon free for reflection or exploring the village.
Day 6: Farewell & Departure
Morning group reflection and impact summary. Receive a personalized impact report for your organization. Farewell gathering. Transfer to Guatemala City airport.
